Early Unusual Miriam Haskell Bell Tube and Gilt Leaf Necklace

$650.00

Vintage 1930s Miriam Haskell was already well know for her unusual and well made jewelry. The book chain necklace has a spring ring closer with bells tubes of Lucite in different colors, red, green, and cobalt blue, gilt caps followed by colored glass beads, different than tubes but the same color in the bib style. Gilt leaves separate 3 bells in a group, there are 8 groups of bells with 7 leaves. The bells are 2” and so are the leaves. The necklace is 18”, the dangling bells and leaves take 6” of the center. Excellent vintage condition with age appropriate wear. Nothing missing, no cracks or damage, but there is a little tarnish on a couple of the box. the leaves and bell caps have lost a little of the gilt.
